Closed Captioning is the process of adding text to a video that are timed to match the dialogue on the video. They are normally added with the aid of subtitling software. Commonly seen in movies, captions can also be in the same language as the dialogue to aid the deaf or people with difficulty hearing. This is actually required by law in some countries. In fact, this has proven to improve literacy in many countries. Translated subtitles are usually used to overcome language barriers especially since movies in general are distributed worldwide and can be both a video and audio description. Contrary to common belief, subtitles are not literal and direct translations of dialogue as it is human nature to absorb words faster in hearing rather than reading. Rather, they are shortened and differ a bit from the original script while highlighting the important parts of a dialogue.
PROCESS FLOW:
The center receives audio/video through FTP.
After receiving the audio/video:
The third step involves integration of text and video/audio according to the time they appear on screen with client specification.
We send back the final output according to the format the client needs.
WORK TYPE OR TYPE OF AUDIO/VIDEO DETAILS:
The Audio/video involves the content of crafts, commercials, episodes, religious teachings, sports, adventure, national geographic and ad-films Videos.
PAYOUTS
1. The payout is Fortnightly. Billing cycle of 1st to 15th will be paid on 22nd of every month and Billing cycle of 16th to 30th will be paid on 7th of every month.
2. The payout is Rs 20 per audio minute.
3. We will provide software training and project training.
4. One month QC support for your files.
5. The volume to start with we can allot 180 minutes per day.
CONTRACT PERIOD
The contract period is for 1 year and will be renewed every year based on the satisfactory performance of the center.
POTENTIAL BILLING
1st Slot (3 Captioners + 1 Proofer)
180 minutes per day x 20 Rupees per minute = 3600 Rupees per day.
As we have procured business from major subtitling and captioning provider we have huge volumes and we have the volume potential to go up to 50 slots per day.
If TAT and quality is strictly adhered we can ramp up the volume immediately.
