I myself would like to inform you all MLS and new or old vendors about Nuance Gimmicks, and this is the reason why I registered with MTFORUM to explain few facts that are going on in MT field, especially with NUANCE. Somewhat MModal is good when it comes to only employees working with them and not outsourcing FFT platform works to anyone in the market.
First of all, the Escription is easy (but again need to change lot of things in the VRE content), makes everyone just to process more lines in less time, the fact behind is anybody can do mistakes by overlook, so they can mark errors like CPSE, Major, Minors etc. (this is to deduct (sorry cut your trouser back pocket with invisible scissors without your knowledge mostly in the last week of every month, 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st). No reversals can be performed once it goes to next month or salary sheet is prepared. Oops - you have to start borrowing money from others from that point of time.
Important Gimmicks by Nuance:
1. When they get good response from all MLS' to join the company through interviews in 5-star or 3-star Hotels making MT professionals as real big fools by giving spot appointment letter and/or offer letters without keeping a test, (see these real buggers need people on emergency basis irrespective of how they give the quality when LIVE work starts), mostly MLS joins here to bend their heads and listen to TLs apart from work topics, some with real need though. Asking all MLS people to join immediately to get JOINING BONUS, 3 MONTHS PROTECTED SALARY irrespective of getting DSP or NDSP (guys, first two months, you can just push the files with default VRE content as they have already committed 3 months salary protection, so just bang lines without looking into the file content/matter, just give parties to your respective TLs and those TLs will take care of you by begging QAs/QCs not to mark CPSEs or Majors when you people trying to attain DSP.
2. Free Food - This is one more gimmick, free food means people just stay long hours and do more lines. 15+ years experienced MLS and 1 year experienced MLS sits besides each other and finally young chaps get more when compared to having more exposure and experienced guys. When experienced find out the accounts are too easy for juniors, and that is why juniors are banging more lines, these bugger TLs simply ignore your talks stating that those people are juniors and do not have much exposure on all specialities. Bachelors stay up to 20 hours to get maximum money. Remember one thing, there is always an END, i.e. after protection period is over for new joinees, most of the MLS will start feeling disrespect from middle and higher management if not processing said lines.
3. ITP is introduced keeping in mind that no one is going to be troubled if they process less lines also because whatever lines they do, they will be paid for those lines only, (with 10% deduction as TDS - don't forget this), but TL buggers also trouble them asking why not doing regularly, your ID will be disabled etc. Finally, ITP is completely removed, so now everyone is in "DANGER ZONE" because they will keep asking for daily targets. To attract more people, they have introduced grid system long back, i.e. starting from 750 lines per shift. What justice this Nuance has given to people who used to do 1300 lines per shift without closing eyes, with jerking body movements while working in nights.
4. Five-day a week working - Definitely, they will not touch you to work in weekends initially even if you people take 2 days week-off, but when volumes are there, you have to come to office or by logging in at home to work as per their instructions - If you did not respond to their calls or talks improperly, your count down starts - TLs simply say you will be paid for the excess lines anyhow so what is the problem (the problem knows by people who keeps headphones and listens to each file), why can't you do etc. Close friends (worthless MLS) of TLs ("spoons" in local languages), will always be enjoying in weekends. Here, just assume week-offs in Nuance are just God's gift and not mandatory (tell your family members that you have joined Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, so you will be working for the Nation's Safety), at least those guys will get 2-3 months holidays in a year, here you have to keep on working.
5. More important and interesting thing - If an MLS is comfortably handling his/her work with good linecount and suddenly if there is a new account which has to be started with immediate effect, please you just forget your monthly income that you are expecting next month or the commitments that you have every month, this new account anyhow you people have to do and it is purely NDSP account initially and you will be scratching your heads if the account is not that easy or even if it is easy you must transcribe and edit (non-speech lines are doubled, but who is asking double or triple when the MLS is not interested to transcribe the files in his/her rest of MT life).
I'm getting good words from my mouth, but this admin will not allow me to say and it is also not good to say about a company too. Simply to say - these guys are professional beggars.
I have mentioned only 5 points, but there are infinite points to describe about them.
If any of the Nuance higher management guys is reading this post, I have one advice for you - Please ask all TLs to do 500 lines per day, otherwise their salary will be deducted straight away 50%. From next moment, they start resigning from the company, then you people have to search for TLs to recruit through interviews in 7-Star Hotels or 10-Star Hotels if you find any on this earth.
Sorry to say - Business Heads, Operations Manager, Quality Head, TLs, Senior TLs, my foot managers......etc. To run the show, they can do anything, no ethics at all.
NOTE: Why you people want MLS to do 750 lines if they can't reach higher targets i.e. 1300 plus lines in a shift, if they can't reach higher targets, you can terminate them or ask them to resign, here you people are simply begging people to continue working in different style (different style means showing all benefits like PF, free food, insurance), so that whatever revenue is going to be saved from stopping vendors can be distributed to all MLS'. Promise this MTFORUM that you will stick to it and tomorrow no vendor is going to work for you even when there is much need to process more accounts. Oh....its company's sole discretion right...ok fine.
